Conditions of Sale

 

1. Order and Payment: ​ All work, including transportation and installation costs, will be paid in full after approval at our facilities by the customer or his representative.

 

A deposit of 50% of the total amount will be required at the time of application. The remaining balance must be paid upon delivery or prior to shipping.

 

The initial deposit amount will only be returned to the client if: ​ The work is not delivered to the client within 1 year after the date of this document.

Fundição Mão de Fogo does not comply with the technical and aesthetic requirements agreed with the client at the time of award.

 

 

 

The initial deposit amount will not be returned to the client if: The client gives up on the project during its execution without liability attributable to Mão de Fogo, Fundição Artística, LDA.

 

 

 

The client suspends work for a period exceeding 1 year from the date of award.

 

 

 

2. Prices and Quality: Prices are set based on design complexity, size, material and production time.

 

Slight variations in color, texture and shape may occur due to the artisanal nature of the casting process.

 

​ 3. Execution and Delivery Deadlines: The Execution Deadline is that indicated in this document and agreed by both parties.

 

The Execution Deadline may vary or be suspended for reasons beyond the control of MDFGO, due to technical adjustments during the execution of the sculptures, stock failures at suppliers, technical changes by the client or mandatory vacation.

 

Delivery time will be estimated at the time of ordering, taking into account the complexity of the part and the current workload of the foundry.

 

Delays may occur due to unforeseen factors; We will notify customers of any changes to the deadline.

 

Shipping costs will be calculated based on the destination and weight of the item. The foundry is not responsible for damage or loss during transport, unless insurance has been taken out by the customer.

 

 

 

4. Warranty and Return Policy: We guarantee the quality of our work, but any defect must be reported within 7 days of delivery so we can evaluate and resolve the issue.

 

Returns are not accepted unless there is a proven defect in the part.

 

 

 

5. Copyright: The client declares that he/she holds all copyrights or written authorization from the copyright holder on the sculpture/Artistic Object to be reproduced by Mão de Fogo, LDA.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

6. Original Sculptures: Mão de Fogo is not responsible for damage to original sculptures delivered by the client for reproduction in bronze or any other material.

 

The customer must be aware that silicone mold making is an aggressive method for most media, therefore there may be minor or even irreparable damage in the end on the original sculptures delivered by the customer.

 

In case of damage to the original sculptures, Mão de Fogo is not responsible for the cost of restoring the damaged sculptures delivered by the customer.
