The sculptor Rui Chaves asked us for a completely black patina.
A few years after starting this project, we were used to the classic Patine, verdigris with a black base and more or less verdigris according to the customer's taste.
It was a challenge, as it is not easy to achieve a uniform Black Patine across the entire surface of the sculpture.
All our Patines are made by chemical reaction of the elements with the Bronze surface.
We do not use pre-made Patines, or as in some cases we also do not use any kind of paint to cover the sculptures.
