Carla Rondão was born in Lisbon in 1975.
From an early age, his natural aptitude for the Arts manifested itself, as evidenced by his choice of professional area as his basic training: Graphic Arts and Illustration, and it is in this area that he has been developing his professional occupation for approximately 17 years.
But her intuition and need to create were not sufficiently satisfied and in 1994 Carla Rondão decided to give her life a new direction in terms of her path in the Arts, and through the hand of the renowned Master Carlos Vizeu and the light of his teachings, she took her first steps into a new world that captivated and fascinated her: Sculpture.
Perhaps influenced by her master, a man of great culture and a unique personality, Carla Rondão develops her artistic work focusing on two recurring themes: Women, seen as versatile and magnificent beings, and the older generations from whose experience and wisdom she feels she can draw life lessons and enrich her own personality. It was also at the Atelier of Master Carlos Vizeu, in Almoçageme, that Carla Rondão exhibited her first works.
When we look at Carla Rondão's works, we are touched by the delicacy of movements and softness in the lines of the sculpted images, which show us the greatness of her sensitive and young soul, which captivates the public in general and art lovers in particular. It is therefore not surprising that her work is currently represented in several private collections.
